My name is Stephanie and I’m a 27 year old living in downtown Chicago. I live with my boyfriend fiancé husband Chris, our cat, Miller and our dog, Hank. Together Chris and I make up the A Little Flavor team. I cook, write posts, create recipes, and Chris handles the photography, website design/tech stuff, taste testing and also graciously cooks sometimes as well. He’s amazing.IMG_1122[1]
We eat at home for almost every meal and I love mixing things up for dinners or brunches. I’m constantly looking for new recipe ideas for us, so we don’t get bored with the same dish over and over. I also love trying new restaurants in Chicago, and I love to use our meal experiences as inspiration (or challenges) for us to try to make at home.
I love living a very active lifestyle, so you can usually find me attempting to hold a handstand after work at my favorite yoga studio, occasionally kayaking in the Chicago River, biking anywhere I can or going for a run along the lake. I finished the Chicago Marathon (marathon #3 for me) with a PR this past October.CL
My recipes are healthy and I try to stay mindful of the ingredients I purchase and add to every meal. With that being said, I also like the occasional splurge and will make less healthy meals as well. These meals usually will have healthy substitutes incorporated to attempt to make the meal a little bit better for you. Enjoy!

The Honest Cooking team is excited to bring that same high quality to Alimentari and PAIR. But that’s not all – Honest Cooking is also a native advertising network of hundreds of handpicked blogs that work together on advertorial campaigns for high-end food and beverage brands. We would therefore like to invite you to become a contributor and network partner with Honest Cooking, Alimentari, and PAIR.
